Project Description

The Brief

To produce a multi-channel suicide prevention campaign for Greater Manchester. Targeting all of the Greater Manchester boroughs the campaign aimed to breakdown the stigma around talking about suicide.

Campaign Delivery

We devised a multi-channel campaign to spread awareness that talking about suicide and suicidal thoughts can help, and there should be should be no stigma attached to talking about it.

We partnered with people affected by suicide to produce a series of intimate films, telling their stories and experiences. Once produced, we then delivered a marketing campaign to get people talking and to take the save a life training – this included:

  • Press, radio and broadcast
  • OOH advertising
  • Events (such as Parklife)
  • Greater Manchester micro influencer campaign
  • Social media advertising

Results

22 micro influencers around Greater Manchester
1.5 million people reached in Greater Manchester
20,000 people completed the Save a Life online training
Over 50,000 video views

“Our campaign has out-performed any other campaign we have launched on social media, yet was delivered on the smallest budget”
