Project Description
The Brief
To support the development of the Majestic in Leeds – a commercial restoration project for Leeds’ most beloved landmark building – with an ongoing multi-faceted media and digital campaign.
The redevelopment would see the former 1920’s theatre become a future-focused office development, filling the need for a prime, Grade A commercial space in Leeds city centre.
Campaign Delivery
Our strategic media relations campaign focused on targeting key Yorkshire titles and national media with progress releases, whilst newsjacking relevant trends for feature opportunities.
We developed close relationships with both regional and national journalists to ensure the Majestic was viewed not just as an important regional project, but one that rivalled its national counterparts.
By creating strong working relationships with important Leeds-based institutions including the LEP, Leeds City Council and Leeds BID, we helped amplify the Majestic’s core messaging to a very business-focused audience.
This was supported by an ongoing social media and content campaign, conducting interviews with key stakeholders and business leaders throughout the region to promote the exceptional promise of the development and its unique properties.

“Roland Dransfield really understood what we were trying to achieve with the Oxford Road Corridor. They adapted their strategy to fit into a COVID world and delivered great results for us. So much so that we retained them past the initial project dates.”
