Roland Dransfield was appointed to launch 20 Stories – D&D London’s rooftop bar and restaurant on the top floor of the landmark No1 Spinningfields in Manchester. Arguably, the region’s most anticipated restaurant and bar opening for considerable time.


Roland Dransfield created and integrated communications and marketing campaign focusing on amplifying D&D London’s presence in Manchester and ensuring the city was aware and excited about the launch of 20 Stories. Focusing on regional press and influencers, Roland Dransfield worked with D&D London to ensure the launch of 20 Stories was a huge success, inviting key business influencers and local celebrities to experience the venue during a soft launch period culminating in an exclusive event.


After being appointed to promote the launch of 20 Stories, Roland Dransfield secured a raft of positive and compelling headlines, including coverage on the much debated ‘Chef’s Dinner Table’ painting by local art collective Nomad Clan. The launch night itself resulted in wide spread media coverage including hits within, Daily Mail, Manchester Evening News, the Daily Mirror, OK Magazine, an unprecedented amount of social media hits and celebrities in attendance including Kim Marsh, Mani from the Stone Roses, Sheree Murphy, Simon Rimmer and footballing legends Harry Kewell and Shay Given.
