Work hard and be nice to people
My love affair with words started when I won a Blue Peter badge aged 5 for a book review I submitted to the show of Jacqueline Wilson’s The Illustrated Mum – which, incidentally, is still my biggest achievement to date.
I’ve been a prolific reader and writer ever since, and when I was about 14, one of my teachers exasperatedly told me I should go into PR as I “never stop talking”. I’m glad I followed her advice, as nothing makes me happier than helping clients communicate their stories to the wider world. I’m incredibly lucky to work with some dazzling businesses and individuals – and it’s made even better by doing it alongside the Roland Dransfield team.
